Overseas engine procurement has problems such as long distance, large information gap, and difficulty in protecting after-sales rights. Inspection is the core link in controlling the quality of the assembly. A standardized and complete inspection process can effectively avoid issues with major repair machines, water inlet machines, meter adjustment machines, and model discrepancies, ensuring procurement quality.

1、 Check the appearance of the model and confirm its compatibility

The first step of inspection is to strictly verify the engine nameplate number, model parameters, and year of manufacture, and compare them with the procurement requirements to confirm the compatible model, displacement, wiring harness interface, and foot position, in order to prevent the inability to load due to model mismatch. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the cylinder body and cylinder head to ensure that there are no cracks, welding repairs, or bumps or deformations. There are no extensive signs of disassembly or loosening on the screws, and the original screws are neat and uniform. The obvious signs of disassembly and assembly are mostly for major repairs and refurbishments of the machine, and it should be rejected directly.

2、 Real time video verification of the entire machine's operating conditions

Overseas procurement must request a fully recorded video of the entire process, including cold start, idle, and light acceleration. Observe whether the startup is smooth, whether there is any delay or lag, and whether the idle is smooth without shaking. Carefully distinguish the cabin noise, there should be no metal knocking on the cylinder, chain rattling, bearing abnormal noise or other fault noises. At the same time, check that there is no blue smoke or thick white smoke in the exhaust, and prevent engine oil burning and gas leakage faults.

3、 Check the oil condition and identify potential hazards

Check the status of engine oil and coolant through videos or spot checks upon arrival. The engine oil is clear and free of metal debris, and there is no emulsification or whitening phenomenon, indicating normal wear of internal components and no water ingress. The coolant is clean and free of oil droplets, avoiding cylinder gasket leakage and oil-water mixing problems. If there are many impurities and severe blackening in the oil, it indicates a long-term lack of maintenance and severe internal wear of the engine.

4、 Verify the integrity and sealing of attachments

Inspect the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors, wiring harness, oil pump and other accessories one by one for completeness and completeness, without any damage or missing parts. Check the oil seal, cylinder gasket, and end cap joints for any oil leakage, and ensure that the sealing condition is good. Simultaneously inspect key components such as the turbine and timing cover plate, ensuring no damage, leakage, or signs of modification or assembly.

5、 Retain vouchers and complete after-sales filing

Keep videos, photos, and model screenshots of the entire inspection process as evidence of rights protection. After confirming that the entire machine is free of faults, the model is compatible, and the accessories are complete, the receipt can be confirmed. Once the goods arrive and do not match the inspection materials, you can file a claim with evidence to reduce overseas procurement losses.

Standardizing the complete inspection process can minimize procurement risks and ensure the stability and durability of overseas engine assemblies.
